Quirky and charming, this old manor offers a unique experience with character amidst a working farm filled with sheep and horses. The owners are welcoming, and the homemade breakfast sets a delightful start to the day. A perfect base for exploring the local area, with plenty of charm to spare!

The four-poster bed in the Superior Suite filled that nostalgic vibe and provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The charming gardens and antique furniture throughout the property showcase its character, making you feel like you stepped back in time.

The musty smell in the one-bedroom bungalow hit hard, making it tough to settle in. Finding flies buzzing around due to the lack of screens on the open windows was a bit of a nuisance. Plus, the sound of the clothes dryer running late into the evening was disruptive enough to steal some sleep, turning what could have been a peaceful night into an annoying one.

This place suits me perfectly, providing wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and air conditioning. The staff even helped with travel tips during my first stay. I highly recommend this charming spot for anyone looking for comfort. I’m coming back next year!

The Hobbit House provided a spacious feel, allowing us to enjoy our privacy amidst the serene farm surroundings. The views were breathtaking, especially during sunset, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. A delightful surprise was the company of a friendly farm cat that made daily visits. The garden view added a special touch to our experience, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hosts, Jeanette and Colin, were so welcoming! ! It felt like we were staying with family, and Jeanette’s home-cooked meals were a highlight, especially that Tasmanian salmon.
